About Me

I’m Lottie Andersen—a Danish writer, director, and actress based in Paris.

At 19, I wrote Livet som model (Life as a Model), published by Rosenkilde, offering guidance to young models navigating the ups and downs of the modeling industry. I appeared on Go’morgen Danmark (a national morning TV show), and the book is still used today in some Danish schools.

My early insight into that world later inspired the psychological thriller series Fashion Paranoia, currently in development with Olivier Wotling at Mintee Studio, Fremantle.
As a director, my first film, Oscar’s Lovers, a dark comedy, premiered at the Paris Film Awards and received multiple awards (Brussels International Film Festival, European Short Awards, L'Accolade Global Film Competition 2023). My next short, Casting #13, was shot in a single take and was nominated for Best Female Directing at the Stockholm Short Film Festival in 2024.
As an actress, I starred in The Beast (La Bête) alongside Léa Seydoux, directed by Bertrand Bonello—a film selected at Mostra, Venice 2023 and nominated for the César Awards 2025. I also acted in Presque Légal (Max Mauroux) and L'Esprit Coubertin (Jérémie Sein).

I’ve also trained through the Sundance Institute’s Collab platform, focusing on screenwriting, visual storytelling, and directing actors, with instructors such as Angela LaManna (The Haunting of Bly Manor), Tessa Blake (A Million Little Things), and Tal Lazar (USC School of Cinematic Arts).

Currently, I’m developing Speechless, a short that explores the challenges of reporting a crime in a foreign country, shedding light on cultural differences and systemic obstacles. I’m also working on A Fly on the Wall, a psychological thriller about a single mother who creates a fake online identity to seduce her gynaecologist—only to spiral into hacking, blackmail, and deepfake deception.
